GR and JoAnn Nelson began selling used automobiles in the early 70's with a small used car lot named Holiday Motors. GR's vision to invest their savings and purchase a Ford store in Bassett, Virginia back in 1975 turned out to be a good decision. The support and loyalty of our customers has led to continued growth of the business. Now their son Barry Nelson and his son Lee Nelson carry on this great tradition. The business has grown to include 10 new car franchises and more than 300 full-time employees. The Nelson Automotive Family continues to offer the same outstanding sales, service and integrity that GR and JoAnn began with back in 1975.
