The alternative is another 3.3-liter turbo-six under the hoods of the Turbo S Premium and Turbo S Premium Plus models. However, this one is a high-output version that brings 340 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque to the party. All the engine options for the CX-70 have an eight-speed automatic transmission in common and Mazda’s i-Activ all-wheel drive (AWD) system as part of their standard specification. The EPA-estimated economy ratings for the high-output engine are 23 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway, and 25 mpg combined.
